Who knew old dead electronics had so many salvageable components. I took apart a couple dead dvd drives and recovered three little electric motors, two lasers, one green led, in addition to the gears, screws and a reusable metal enclosure. As a reminder to myself, I should try and make it down to the goodwill to look for cheap reusable electronics.

I also got around to resurrecting the garden. Last year’s harvest was inedible, but it’s just fun going out to water it, gives me a reason to be in the yard. And look, this blog is getting me to use my camera.
